Greetings and Welcome to

Melissa Rogers recently received her MFA in Media Arts from Emerson College in Boston, MA. She recently launched and continues to maintain her interactive documentary: The West Virginia Storytelling Project.


She completed her undergraduate study at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, where she recieved her BFA in Photography/Computer Digital Imagery with a Graphic Design minor in May 2009.

Her proficiency in image-making includes a strong foundation in black and white and color darkroom techniques, photojournalism and processing for print and web, and performance photography, especially for concerts, theater, and dance. Of late, they have expanded to include video and video editing, After Effects motion graphics, as well as cinematography.
